Dale Steyn produced his career’s best spell against Pakistan when he demolished their batting and South Africa grasped the game smoothly at Abu Dhabi.
The visiting Pakistani squad well led by their skipper, Misbah-ul-Haq, assisted by Ahmed Shehzad and the bowlers let down the hosts Zimbabwe in the final ODI.
A dashing hundred from the top order batsman, Mohammed Hafeez, followed by a lethal fast bowling by Junaid Khan put Pakistan on top vs. the hosts Zimbabwe.
The Pakistani skipper, Misbah-ul-Haq, hailed the performance of the hosts Zimbabwe, who crushed the visitors in the 2nd ODI with a huge margin at Harare.
Zimbabwe humiliated the visiting Pakistan after 15 years mainly because of a sterling batting by Hamilton Masakadza, Vusi Sibanda and by their hostile bowling.
Ahmed Shehzad blasted 98 runs by crushing the bowling of Zimbabwe and Mohammad Hafeez led from the front with his all round performance as Pakistan won easily.
Pakistan beat Zimbabwe with authority as the batting of the visitors was well led by Ahmed Shehzad followed by an all round performance by Shahid Afridi.
The enterprising all rounder, Shahid Afridi, snatched the victory from West Indies with his powerful batting with the support of Umar Amin and Zulfiqar Babar.
The top order batting of Pakistan clicked for the first time during the series and that resulted in an easy win against the hosts, West Indies, at St Lucia.
